When I initially joined the design team, the Fortunica application was in its early stages. Over the course of my 6-year tenure, I have witnessed tremendous growth and development of the app. During this time, we have successfully designed and implemented new features, collaborated with external teams, and navigated the challenges posed by the pandemic. However, we continue to face several key challenges at Fortunica:

  1. Conversion Rate: Although we have a significant number of users accessing the application through various channels, the conversion rate, particularly in terms of users purchasing a question, remains relatively low. Addressing this challenge requires a deep understanding of user behavior and identifying barriers to conversion.
  2. Advisor Selection: Ensuring that users can easily and confidently select the ideal advisor is another crucial challenge. We need to explore ways to enhance the advisor selection process and provide users with the necessary guidance and support in making their choice.
  3. Application Complexity: Fortunica has evolved into a feature-rich application, which presents a challenge in terms of maintaining a user-friendly and intuitive experience. We need to find effective strategies to tackle the complexity and simplify the user journey, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for our users.
  4. Trust and Reputation: Unfortunately, the spiritual sector is plagued by fraudulent individuals. Building and maintaining trust with our users is of utmost importance. We need to implement robust measures to overcome this challenge, such as implementing strict vetting processes for advisors and providing clear indications of their authenticity and credibility.
  5. User Retention: Increasing user retention is an ongoing challenge for Fortunica. We must focus on understanding user needs, improving user engagement, and delivering personalized experiences that keep users coming back to the app.
    Despite these challenges, I am confident that with our dedicated team and a customer-centric approach, we overcome these obstacles and continue to drive the success and growth of Fortunica.
